Well, Bubbie was BUSY this week.  On Sunday morning, I decided to work from home.  Sammie was upstairs with me and Bubbie was outside.  Gabe was leaving for work and Bubbie was outside so he called to her to get her inside before he opened the gate…..NO BUBBIE.  He walked around everywhere outside and called her name – couldn’t find her anywhere.  He came running in and said “Bubbie’s gone.  I think someone took her.”  My heart dropped to my feet.  I quickly got dressed, got the car keys and was all set to look for her (with tears in my eyes – people steal dogs here ALL THE TIME).  I decided to bring Sammie as she’s very much linked to Bubbie and could help us.  I ran out the front door to join Gabe ….. and Bubbie comes bounding up to me!  We didn’t know HOW – but she got out of the front gate.  We were VERY relieved – Gabe found her at the end of the block and when he called to her and she came flying to him.

Today (Monday) she was out AGAIN – this time with Sammie!  We think that maybe she is actually OPENING up the gate!!!  Is it possible?  We searched everywhere and there is no break in the wall, no hole they could slip through.  We decided we’re going to watch her in the morning from the house and see what she’s doing…..that is one clever dog!!!
